BAR MANAGER

We're looking for a confident and capable bartender to lead our bar team. If you love shaking cocktails, have a great foundation of knowledge in alcoholic beverages, and are eager to further your hospitality career, apply below.

Employment Type: Full time or permanent part–time

Hours: 38hrs (full–time) or 30–32hrs (part–time)

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year previous experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced bar or restaurant.

  • Knowledge and experience of cocktail-making.

  • Wine, beer, spirit, and other beverage knowledge

  • Ability to deliver a exceptional, presentable product in a timely manner.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management.

  • Outgoing and engaging personality, and strong communication.

  • Able to work weekends and public holidays.

  • Up-to-date RSA certificate.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard.

  • Be able to provide recommendations based on customer preferences and menu offerings.

  • Maintain inventory and assist in monitoring stock levels of bar supplies.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area.

  • Adhere to all applicable alcohol service regulations and guidelines, ensuring responsible beverage service.

  • Greet guests warmly and process payments accurately using our systems and procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with bar staff, servers, and kitchen team members to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.

  • Perform opening and closing duties according to established procedures.
